About Our Internship Program

The Mosaic Integrative Counseling internship is a yearlong, immersive training experience for graduate-level counseling students passionate about trauma-focused care.

Interns work within a highly supportive, specialized private practice setting, gaining skills in treating:

  • Complex trauma
  • Dissociation
  • Attachment concerns

Our internship is designed to:

  • Provide direct client work in a private practice environment with weekly clinical supervision
  • Support integration of theory and practice with a focus on trauma-informed, attachment theory–focused, and psychodynamic approaches
  • Develop interns’ ability to track process in the therapist–client relationship from an integrative, parts-informed perspective

Commitment to Diversity

Mosaic Integrative Counseling values the richness and strength that diversity brings to the counseling field. We are deeply committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where all interns feel respected, supported, and valued.

We strongly encourage applications from Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), as well as candidates from other backgrounds historically underrepresented in the counseling profession.

Faith and Justice Alignment

At Mosaic Integrative Counseling, our Christian faith is foundational to who we are as providers. It shapes our values, guides our compassion, and informs our commitment to justice, equity, and the dignity of every person. We believe that following Jesus calls us to pursue healing, reconciliation, and care for the most vulnerable.

We welcome and serve clients from all backgrounds, and faith is only incorporated into counseling when specifically requested by the client. Because our team culture is rooted in shared Christian beliefs and values, we seek interns who are followers of Jesus and desire to integrate their faith with their professional growth.

  • Relationally attuned, valuing the therapeutic relationship as central to healing
  • Self-directed and organized, able to balance client care, documentation, and professional learning
